Challenge #284 - The Red Carpet

     Hello, friends of Time Out. Welcome back! If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you. We're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through March 26th. This time it is a Theme challenge: The Red Carpet. We'd like to see your creations that are inspired by Red Carpet Fashion photos - what people are wearing, or things in the red carpet photos like the red carpet itself, the colors and other details you see in the photos, etc. Your project does not have to be fashion oriented but the inspiration must be. You can use the collage below for your inspiration, but you can also pick any Red Carpet fashion photo from any awards event at any time. Link to the blogs from the cards below and it will all become crystal clear!

***Important: If you use a photo from the collage below as inspiration for your project, please tell us which one in your post. If you use a photo from anywhere else, please include it in your post so that we can see what inspired you.***

We are joined by Carol Mayne of just me: c, and winner of Time Out #279 as Guest Designer. Carol is a prolific card artist with wonderful design skills and attention to detail, and she is a joy to work with. Here are a few words from Carol about her crafting:

'Hello, I’m Carol (aka *~c*) waving from my home in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. I’ve been crafting for about 12 years and now that I’m retired from my career, my days are spent playing with paper, stamps, stencils, dies and ink, cross stitching, reading and taking long walks with my husband and our sweet mini schnauzer, Lily.  The friendships I’ve made through the crafting communities are treasured immensely. I’m truly honoured to be Time Out’s Guest Designer for this challenge."
