Challenge 230 - Inspired by Words

Hello friends of Time Out!

We are back with another fun challenge for you and it's time for one of our Inspired by Words challenges! You can be inspired by the whole phrase or just choose one word/some words as your starting point. These are our inspiring words:

We love to hear about our Guest Designers in their own words so we can get to know them a bit. Here is what Julia had to say:

"I started card stamping about 28 years ago - in a similar way to many - after attending Stampin'Up card stamping parties!  I have always been crafty but I cannot draw and stamping gave me a way to create beautiful images without drawing.  I started out being a clean and simple style stamper, which I still do on occasion, but I also picked up some vintage and steam punk styles as I was on various design teams. I've just recently been learning how to watercolor my images.  There's always something new to get excited about with stamping.  My jam packed craft room is a testament to that!"

Challenge 229 - Romantic

Hello friends of Time Out!

Happy New Year 2023! We are excited to begin a whole new year of challenges with you. Today's challenge is special in two ways: our 5 new DT members begin their journey today and also we have a new sponsor! Woot woot!



In our first challenge of 2023 we challenge you to be "Romantic". This challenge is generously sponsored by Jane's Doodles with a $20 credit to their store for our winner! "Hi everyone! My name is Cheryl Even and I’m very excited to be a guest designer for Time Out Challenges.  A Southern California native, I have been married to my college sweetheart, Greg, for 31 years and am a homeschooling mom for my kids. I am a voracious reader and also love playing Scrabble on my Kindle. I have been scrapbooking since I went to my first scrapbooking party and decided to try it for a month to see if I liked it. 25 years later, I think you could say I stuck with it and loved it! I started designing scrapbook sketches in 2010, and I post my completed layouts and sketches (and the occasional card) on my blog, https://evenmorescrapping.blogspot.com/."
