Challenge 250 - Inspired by Words

Hello friends of Time Out!

Thank you everyone who played along in our previous 'Vintage' challenge... It's time for a new challenge for the next fortnight!

In our new challenge we are Inspired by Words:

"When we focus on our gratitude,
the tide of disappointment goes out and the tide of love rushes on"
Kristin Armstrong

You can use the whole quote as your starting point or just be inspired by one word or some words like "tide", "gratitude" or "love". Plenty of possibilities here!

This challenge is sponsored by Poppy Stamps with a $20 store credit to our winner, chosen by our DT. Our winner also gets called to guest design in a future challenge. Thank you Poppy Stamps for being our generous sponsor!

This time we welcome Deb Horst, frequent player at Time Out and winner of #247, as our Guest Designer.  You can check out Deb's awesome creative work on her blog, Sendable Sentiments. Treat yourself to a visit to her blog and leave her some love. You are sure to be inspired by her wonderful work.

Here is a little bit about Deb in her own words:

"I am married to a wonderful man (next July makes 35 years) and we have 2 adult children--a son who lives on Long Island, NY and a daughter who lives in Chicago. We live in Florida, which feels so very far away from our kids, especially since we have two grandkids (granddaughter who is 3 & grandson who is 1) living in Chicago!! For over 20 years I was a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, but in 2021 I let go of my demonstratorship after our move to FL. I still love scrapbooking & creating cards and have enough Stampin' Up products to last me through eternity...so I will keep on creating!!  Since crafting doesn't pay the bills (it only creates them) I work as a para-professional in our local middle school."

And now for a look at Deb's fabulous card which you can also link to HERE:

Challenge 249 - Vintage

Hello friends of Time Out!

It's time for a new challenge, and we have another great one for you.
This time, we challenge you to be: VINTAGE.

Now you can go in many different directions with his one. The majority of experts have agreed that items over 50 years old but less than 100 years old can be called "vintage" - old, but not that old. It can also mean the year or place in which wine, especially of high quality, was produced.

Have fun with this one! Think vintage cars, clocks, dishes, typewriters, holiday deco, art, fashion, original Barbies... if you go to Google Images and type "vintage" you will get a plethora of ideas.

We are generously sponsored by Doodlebugs. Challenge winner as chosen by our Design Team will receive a $25.00 store credit to spend at the Doodlebugs store. Our winner will also be invited to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.

We welcome Cynthia Olheiser of Stampin' In Alaska and winner of Time Out #246, as our Guest Designer. Cynthia is a very talented card maker who has a great eye for design and color.

Here is a little bit about Cynthia in her own words:

"Hi! My name is Cynthia and I live in Anchorage, Alaska. I have been crafting since I was young to include knitting, sewing and macramé. I started my paper crafting journey with scrapbooking then turned to cards. I enjoy trying different stamping techniques but I would say my style is mostly clean and simple.
Thank you to Time Out for the opportunity to share my inspiration with you this week."

This is Cynthia's fabulous vintage creation. Click HERE to link to it on her blog.

And now for some inspiration from our Design Team that so well illustrates the many faces of "vintage":
