It's time for a new challenge at Time Out. With #272 we are challenged to be "snarky". What does that mean?? In one Snarky originally meant "cranky or bad-tempered." By the end of the 20th century, it took on the additional meaning of "irreverent or contemptuous." When you say something snarky, you're probably trying to be funny, but in a biting or sarcastic way. You can certainly interpret this per any definition you choose. Our Design Team has a wide variety of examples of snark. Have fun with it. We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here are some crafty musings from Susan's a little bit about Susan in her own words:
"I'm from Saskatchewan, Canada, and have always enjoyed almost any kind of crafting - and have dabbled in most - something I inherited from my late mom. I discovered card making about 20 years ago when I was involved with online swapping. I made a New Years resolution at that time to never purchase another card, and it's been the ONLY resolution I've ever kept!!! I've decided that I'll never be able to quit, given the amount of craft supplies I have. Years ago, when I used to travel to the city (where I now live) to visit, I would go on a craft supply binge. When I got home, I would have most of my purchases in the trunk of my car, and just go in the house with one or 2 bags (nobody would believe I would come home empty handed) - then get the rest out of the trunk the next morning when my kids had left for school!! Most people hide their "habit" from husbands, I hid from my kids, particularly my son, with his "Is that really necessary?" comment. My secret is well out of the bag now, as anyone that walks into my craft room says OMG!! (My son only rolls his eyes when he comes to visit)."
