Challenge #319

 Hello, friends of Time Out. Welcome back! If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you. We're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through August 19th. This time it is a "Pick 2" challenge. The idea of this challenge is very simple: we give you 6 word prompts and you pick at least 2 for your project!  To be clear, you can pick more than 2 or all 6 if you really want to stretch yourself, but you only must choose 2!

The prompts for Challenge #319 are:

Monochrome, Geometric, Floral, Stitching (faux or real), Birthday and CAS

In your post, please mention which words you have chosen and how they inspired you!

We have a new challenge that starts today! This Inspired By challenge celebrates Mother Nature. We are looking for projects inspired by:

The Environment: Mountains, oceans, forests, weather, and ecosystems.
Living Things: Plants, animals, and natural phenomena.
Nature Itself: Features and processes that exist independently of human creation.

We can't wait to see what you create! 🌿

Challenge #317

Hello, friends of Time Out. Welcome back! If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you. We're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through July 22. This time it is a Theme challenge, and the theme is:  

Water

Think ocean, lake, pool, bathtub, rain, fountain, in a glass, sprinkler, river, etc.Any way you want to interpret the word!

Our wonderful sponsor is our own Design Team Member, Jaydee. She is generously offering Pinkfresh Studios Berries & Blossoms Stamp, Die & Stencil Bundle as the prize for our Challenge Winner.

An invitation to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge will also be extended to our Challenge Winner.

We are joined by Kathy Asper of myasperations, and winner of Time Out #312 as Guest Designer.  Kathy is a frequent player and big supporter of Time Out.  "Hello, my name is Kathy Asper. I’ve loved to draw, color, fussy-cut, and create since I could hold a pencil! I was introduced to rubber stamps in 1996… and they quickly became my favorite therapy! I’ve been blogging since 2017 and love how challenges like Time Out encourage me to try new techniques, themes, tools, and more. We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through July 8. This time it is a Photo Challenge. This fabulous photo was take by our own Design Team Member, Carol McFarland. There are many fun elements to choose from!

For your project, you can take inspiration from the entire picture, or just pick one or a few things as your starting point. For example you can pick stripes or the glass of iced tea, the pool or make it about summer, or focus on the trees and sky... Use your imagination. Whatever your choice, please tell us in your post, how you were inspired by the photo.
