Challenge #317

Hello, friends of Time Out. Welcome back! If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you. We're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through July 22. This time it is a Theme challenge, and the theme is:  

Water

Think ocean, lake, pool, bathtub, rain, fountain, in a glass, sprinkler, river, etc.Any way you want to interpret the word!

Our wonderful sponsor is our own Design Team Member, Jaydee. She is generously offering Pinkfresh Studios Berries & Blossoms Stamp, Die & Stencil Bundle as the prize for our Challenge Winner.

An invitation to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge will also be extended to our Challenge Winner.

We are joined by Kathy Asper of myasperations, and winner of Time Out #312 as Guest Designer.  Kathy is a frequent player and big supporter of Time Out.  "Hello, my name is Kathy Asper. I’ve loved to draw, color, fussy-cut, and create since I could hold a pencil! I was introduced to rubber stamps in 1996… and they quickly became my favorite therapy! In 1999 a friend and I opened a small stamp and scrap store in South Dakota, and I soon learned that stamping people are my favorite kind of people! I’ve been blogging since 2017 and love how challenges like Time Out encourage me to try new techniques, themes, tools, and more. Plus, I am always inspired by the beautiful cards and other creations that the challenge DTs and other stampers post!"

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through June 24. This time it is a Pick 2 challenge where we are challenged to  pick at least 2 of the six given cues and incorporate them into our projects. You may pick more than 2 but you must pick at least 2. Our cues this time are: Vacation, Summer, Camping, Sun, Water and Ice Cream.

"Hi! I’m so happy to be Time Out’s guest designer again. From originally making Christmas cards with little more than cardstock, an X-Acto knife, and glue sticks, I am now totally obsessed with die cutting and all the things I can easily cut out. Thanks to the online card making community, though, I have learned to do so much more—and my tools and supplies have consequently increased, exponentially! I love Time Out challenges because they help me use my supplies in new ways and create cards I never would come up with otherwise."
