Challenge #324

Hello, friends of Time Out. Welcome back! If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you. We're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through October 28. This time it is a Photo Inspiration Challenge. We are looking for projects inspired by the photo below

Look at the photo and pull design cues rather than copying it literally. You might draw inspiration from the color palette, mood or theme, motifs and shapes... whatever you see in the photo that sparks your imagination and creativity.

"Hi! I am Ashwini, a software engineer by profession based in India and a crafter by hobby. I have loved crafts since I was a little girl. I stumbled upon card making when I was surfing on Pinterest. I began card making late 2013, started this blog in May 2014, when I thought of sharing my little talents with the world. And my love for paper and inks has only increased in the last few years.

I have a mixed style of card making, from CAS to mixed media, but I love water coloring and am polishing my pencil coloring skill nowadays. I am super delighted today to be participating with Time Out challenge team."

Winners #322

Welcome back. If you are new to Time Out, we are delighted to have you join us!

We are here to announce the winners of Time Out Challenge #322 where the challenge was to create something inspired by seasonal colors where we live. We are a global Challenge. So in the Northern Hemisphere we are in the beginning of Autumn, and in The southern Hemisphere Spring is just beginning. The colors we see in nature, in our gardens, home deocr, our fashion, and all around us are in transition. The challenge is to have our projects to reflect that.

We had a great turnout in the gallery and there were many fabulous entries. It was so fun to read descriptions of how seasonal colors influenced projects. There was also some photo sharing of the things that inspired projects which was so much fun to see. We thank all who participated! As always, we greatly appreciate your taking time out to craft and join us!

Challenge #323

Hello, friends of Time Out. Welcome back! If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you. We're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through October 14th. This time it is a "Pick 2" challenge. The idea of this challenge is very simple: we give you 6 word prompts and you pick at least 2 for your project!  To be clear, you can pick more than 2 or all 6 if you really want to stretch yourself, but you only must choose 2!

The prompts for Challenge #323 are:

Harvest, basket, gingham, circle, baking and apple.

In your post, please mention which words you have chosen and how they inspired you!

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through September 30. This time it is an Inspired By challenge. We are looking for projects that feature:

Seasonal Colors Where You Live

We are a global Challenge. In general, it is (almost) Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, and Spring in the Southern Hemisphere. In the US, weather is still summery in many places, though pumpkin season is already in play. Our challenge to you is to incorporate the colors of the season where YOU live into your project.  Please explain in your post why you chose the colors you did.
