Challenge #315

 Hello, friends of Time Out. Welcome back! If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you. We're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through June 24. This time it is a Pick 2 challenge where we are challenged to  pick at least 2 of the six given cues and incorporate them into our projects. You may pick more than 2 but you must pick at least 2. Our cues this time are: Vacation, Summer, Camping, Sun, Water and Ice Cream.

Our wonderful sponsor, Newton's Nook Designs, is generously offering a $25 store credit as a prize for our Challenge Winner, who will also get an invitation to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.

We are joined by Sherri Schmidt, winner of Time Out #310, as Guest Designer. Sherri is a talented card maker and a frequent player at Time Out. She posts her work on Flickr as Sherrisonline. Even if you are not a Flickr member, you can still view her gallery. Sherri's designs are fun and her style is eclectic. Do treat yourself to a stroll through her gallery for some great inspiration. 

Here are a few words from Sherri with regard to her crafting journey:

"Hi! I’m so happy to be Time Out’s guest designer again. From originally making Christmas cards with little more than cardstock, an X-Acto knife, and glue sticks, I am now totally obsessed with die cutting and all the things I can easily cut out. Thanks to the online card making community, though, I have learned to do so much more—and my tools and supplies have consequently increased, exponentially! I love Time Out challenges because they help me use my supplies in new ways and create cards I never would come up with otherwise."
