Challenge 255 - Inspired by Words

Hello Friends of Time Out. Welcome back! We are here with a brand new challenge and a brand new sponsor today. Let's get to it!

Challenge #255 is an Inspired By Words challenge. Our inspiration today is a beautiful haiku poem by Matsuo Basho, one of the most famous Zen poets of Japan, who alerts us to the neglected beauty and interest of everyday life. His poem is entitled Winter Solitude.

Challenge 254 - New + Introducing New Design Team Members

 Hello Friends of Time Out,

Welcome back after our short end of year break! We are here with our NEW challenge -where we challenge you to be NEW- and with our NEW DT members! :) We are sadly saying goodbye to our good friend Elizabeth who has been a fantastic addition to the team... But who we will now keep meeting around blogland in other circles. Thank you for all you have done for Time Out, Elizabeth!

Both Greta and Helen have been regular players and long time supporters of Time Out for several years already. We look forward creating alongside Greta and Helen and being inspired by their talent. 

Now, the challenge... Very appropriately for the New Year and with the new DT members and all... We also challenge you to be NEW. You could use new products, play with a new technique, work around the theme New (like New baby or New Year)... Many possibilities here!

"Hi! My name is Cynthia and I live in Anchorage, Alaska. I have been crafting since I was young to include knitting, sewing and macramé. I started my paper crafting journey with scrapbooking then turned to cards. I enjoy trying different stamping techniques but I would say my style is mostly clean and simple.

Hello, friends of Time Out!

It's time to announce the Winner and Honorable Mentions of Challenge #252 where the theme was Winter/Holiday. The gallery was brimming with such wonderful creations and 125 entries! Thank you so much for your support of Time Out. We really appreciate our participants and are constantly inspired and energized by your creativity. It was so difficult to choose our top 3, but it had to be done. 

Update regarding our Design Team Call:

 Huge thanks to all who answered it. We had only one spot to fill, and choosing one person from a number of very talented crafters was as tough as it was for us to choose our challenge winner and honorable mentions this time around. The top pick of the Design Team will be notified this weekend by Nonni Niskanen via email. That person will be invited to start as a Design Team Member for our first challenge of 2024, which goes live on January 4th.
