Challenge 255 - Inspired by Words

Hello Friends of Time Out. Welcome back! We are here with a brand new challenge and a brand new sponsor today. Let's get to it!

Challenge #255 is an Inspired By Words challenge. Our inspiration today is a beautiful haiku poem by Matsuo Basho, one of the most famous Zen poets of Japan, who alerts us to the neglected beauty and interest of everyday life. His poem is entitled Winter Solitude.

Winter solitude -
in a world of one colour
the sound of wind.

Our wonderful new sponsor is Stamp Simply, owned and operated by Sharon Johnson. The Stamp Simply Store is one stop shop for beautiful papers, ribbon, stamps, embellishments and supplies enabling you to simply create cards, altered items and scrapbook pages. Sharon is generously offering a $25.00 store credit to our winner as chosen by our Design Team.

We are joined by Fran Wing of FranmadeInOregon, and winner of Time Out #252 as Guest Designer. This is her wonderful card:

Good morning. I guess it's a little early for me as I entered your challenge with more than 5 other challenges. My apologies. I will try to be. more alert next time. Winning isn't everything anyway! I just love to share my cards. Enjoy your weekend!
