Challenge #305

Hello, friends of Time Out. Welcome back! If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you. We're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through February 4th. This time it is an Inspired By challenge and it is... A favourite card making technique

Card making techniques involve various methods to add texture, dimension, and unique looks, including stamping techniques (heat embossing, two-step, rolling, stamping off), coloring methods (watercolor, blending brushes, marker techniques, crayon resist), texture additions (dry embossing, paper kintsugi, faux finishes like silk/metal), interactive elements (gate folds, easel cards, card spinners), and background effects (Gelli printing, tissue paper, ink smooshing) for creative papercrafts. The list goes on and on...

Please choose one or more of your favorites for your project, and BE SURE TO NAME IT/THEM IN
YOUR POST.

Our wonderful sponsor, Top Flight Stamps, is generously offering a $25.00 store credit as a prize for our Challenge Winner as chosen by the design team, who will also get an invitation to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.

We are joined by Gundi of Papierelle, and winner of Time Out #300 as Guest Designer.  Gundi is a very talented crafter and a frequent player at Time Out. It is a joy to have her with us as Guest Designer.

"Hello I'm Gundi (papierelle) from Germany. Even as a small child, I was very creative and loved crafting, painting, and trying my hand at many other handicraft techniques, but my passion is card making. I still love painting too, especially watercolor painting. I'm very pleased to be able to support the Time Out team as a Guest Designer for this challenge."

This is Gundi's wonderful Challenge Card. Gundi chose Mixed Media as her favorite technique. Isn't her card gorgeous? Check out all the details HERE.
