Hello friends of Time Out!
We are here introducing two new DT members and also with a new challenge themed "New"... So lots and lots of newness happening here! :) Let's begin with the new DT members and give a warm welcome to Nancy and Aarthi!
Nancy comes from Canada and is a married mom of two grown sons. She's been card making since 1996: Nancy's mom was in to all things crafty and this hobby is one of the ones she passed along to her. Nancy has been blogging already since 15 years at Nancy's Creative Mess. In addition to Time Out, she is part of several design teams including AAA Cards, Addicted to CAS, CASology, CAS Colours and Sketches and Christmas Craft Creations. Nancy loves clean and simple designs and everything that sparkles!
Aarthi Shanmugam comes from Chennai, India. She is a mother of an almost 4 year old and also a software professional. Aarthi has a passion for crafting, mainly card making. She started card making as a hobby 2 years back and now she loves to spend her free time designing and making cards! You can find Aarthi's work in Instagram HERE. Time Out Challenges is Aarthi's first ever design team and she is also joining Craftyscrappers Creative Design Team team in February, woot woot!
Again, a warm welcome to our amazing new DT members, we can't wait to see all the inspiration you create for us all here at Time Out.
The challenge for the next fortnight is one of our "We challenge you to be..."-challenges and this time the cue word is "New".
You could think of New Year, New Year resolutions, New goodies, New beginnings, New techniques... Lots of possibilities here! We are sponsored by Uniko with an in stock stamp set of the winner's choice. Our winner is also called to guest design in a future challenge.
This time we welcome Chrissie Stokes of Simply One Of A Kind, winner of Time Out Challenge #201, Co-Founder of Less Is More Challenge and CAS designer extraordinaire as our Guest Designer for this challenge. Check out her beautiful card below.
And now, a bit about our guest in her own words:
"My card making journey started in 2007 when my daughter asked me to make her wedding stationery. From never attempting anything similar previously I was soon addicted. After establishing my style as Clean and Simple, I created a Challenge Blog called Less is More with a fellow crafter, which was a huge success. After many years I stepped down from that role but it has continued strongly since then. I have been on many design teams for various challenge blogs and also for Crafter Stamper magazine, having cards in their editions for most of the months of my tenure. At present I am a moderator for the Facebook group Clean and Simple Card Making."
Check out these inspiration cards from our design team:
