Hello, friends of Time Out.
It's time for a new challenge, and this is an extra special one. In years past, we had a breast cancer awareness themed challenge at this time of year. More recently, we expanded our challenge to acknowledge all kinds of cancers, chronic illnesses and other diseases that affect us and/or our loved ones and for which greetings of friendship, encouragement and support are so important to share.
This year, we have been gifted a digital stamp created by Jane Beljo of Jane's Doodles and currently designing for Creative Expressions. The image below is available to our Design Team and to YOU to use for our challenge. It is NOT mandatory for participation, but please feel free to use it if the spirit moves you. Just right click on the image, download, resize and print. We would love to see your creations with it!
Notice that each of the adorable animals in the trio has a ribbon on their clothing. You can color those ribbons as you choose for a loved one who is dealing with a cancer or chronic illness, or in honor of one who has lost their battle. Your card can also be a card of friendship, support and/or encouragement for someone who needs it for any reason.

Jaydee is a very talented card maker who is passionate about many things - some of which are art, literature, cooking and travel. We are especially happy to have her designing with us, as this challenge theme is near and dear to her heart. The following is a little about Jaydee in her own words:
"Hi. My name is Jaydee and I have been crafting and card making for over a decade. It's one of the things that helps me relax and unwind after a long day at the office. Playing along with challenges and being a member of design teams is one of the ways I find inspiration. I just love being a part of this positive, supportive and creative community and am so happy that I got to participate with Time Out for this specific challenge. Today's card was created for all my loved ones that have been affected by cancer. I named my post for this card - Not All Heroes Wear Capes. Huge thanks to Time Out for giving me the opportunity to participate."
