Hello All,
It is time for our 'Theme' challenge here at TIME OUT and the theme for the next 2 weeks is:
Grunge with the optional twist of Embossing
You can use any kind of embossing that you want.
What does 'Grunge' mean for us papercrafters??
Grunge is characterized by distressed, worn-out elements and the use of subtle
or earthy colours. Think torn edges, textured backgrounds, 'dirty' appearance, splatters, stains, even hand-drawn lines. That said, grunge doesn't always mean
"dirty" or subdued colours. A card can have subtle grunge elements in light or soft ink
and yet still look clean and simple. Just think of grunge as the
opposite of "polished".
We are very excited that our sponsors this week are STAMPlorations-owned by DT member Shery
We have 2 ways that you could win a $10 gift voucher to spend in the amazing STAMPlorations store:
-the DT will choose a winner and that winner will get a $10 gift voucher
-we will do a random draw from all those who twist with us by adding embossing to their project. This twister will also get a $10 gift voucher.
This week our Guest Designer is Ksenija.
Her blog Sweet kobylkin is a joy to visit, full of inspiring and creative projects. Take some time out and have a look around here
Time for us to see what Ksenija and the DT have created to inspire you:

I'm not sure if my simple uneven-edged watercoloring is grungilicious enough, but I figured it doesn't hurt to enter and promote the challenge. Thank you for YOUR grungilicious inspiration! Hugs, Darnell
I had a great time making a "grungy" card. Awesome inspirations and thank u for this challenge! :)
Fantastic DT cards, very inspiring :)
