Challenge 224 - Cancer Awareness/Encouragement/Friendship

 Welcome friends!  

We have a new challenge for you today - 

We challenge you to create an encouragement and/or friendship card! This is our cancer awareness challenge and we want to recognize all those who have struggled and fought through a cancer battle, and to pay homage to those whose journey has led them out of this world. 

 

We want to give a special shout out to our friend Shery at STAMPlorations. She has been fighting a cancer battle this year and she has been heavy on our hearts here at Time Out. Thank you Shery for all the years of support and creativity.  We stand with you as you walk through this journey.

Special Post: DT Call

 Hello all friends of Time Out!

We are looking for 3-5 new Design Team members to join us from January 2023 onward, woot woot!

First, a few words about our team:

 Time Out Challenges Design Team is an international group of avid crafters from all over the world. We love to connect with our fellow team members and enjoy being friendly and chatty. We occasionally meet over Zoom and we also have a WhatsApp group for staying in contact and chatting about this and that - not only about crafting. :) Most team members also have small admin tasks to keep the challenge running smoothly, and we all have Time Out Challenges close to our hearts. 

We now hope to expand our group and connect with new people - maybe with you! 

What do we expect from you? 

To be able to join us you'll need a blog or an Instagram account. Time Out Challenges is a bi-weekly challenge so that means we expect a Design Team creation every other week (2-3 DT cards per month). Our challenge topics are ready well in advance so if you want, you can work on your projects ahead of time and at your own pace. When our challenges go live, we expect you to post about them on your own social media at the same time. We also share the responsibility for commenting on our challenge entries. Each Design Team member is assigned entry numbers on which to comment. We all vote for the winner and honorable mentions. We are looking for enthusiastic team players interested in getting to know our team as we are interested in welcoming and getting to know you.

How to apply? 

Add a link to your blog or Instagram below. There's no need to make a special project. We'll have a look at your projects and social media as a whole. 

The linky tool is open for 2 weeks, it will close on Friday 7th of October 5 pm GMT. We'll contact the chosen Design Team members by email by the end of October and we will announce the new members here on the blog in December.

"I’ve been creating greeting cards in one form or another for most of my life. I can’t remember when I wasn’t fascinated by paper, but the stamping didn’t start until after 60.  I’ll be 77 this month, so you can do the math! My preferred style is CAS, but I enjoy pushing the limits of CAS with embellishments and layers. I love participating in design challenges because they’re such a good source of inspiration – we spark each other and the ideas are limitless."
