Hello, friends of Time Out.  Welcome back!  If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you, we're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge for you that opens today and runs through October 8th.  This time it is a Pick Two challenge where we give you 6 word prompts and you pick at least 2 for your project!  To be clear, you can pick all 6 if you really want to stretch yourself but you only must choose 2!

"Hi. My name is Jaydee and I have been crafting and card making since 2009.  It's one of the things that helped me relax and unwind after a long day at the office. Since retiring at the end of 2023, I now get to play in my craft room as often as I like!  Playing along with challenges and being a member of design teams is one of the ways I find inspiration.  I just love being a part of this positive, supportive and creative community and am so happy that I got to participate with Time Out for this challenge.  Huge thanks to Time Out for giving me the opportunity to participate."

Darnell is well known in our crafting community as a wonderful card maker, but also for her wit, her stories, her kindness and her encouragement for all of us to use our NBUS - Never Before Used Schtuff. If you don't know Darnell, do check out her blog and get ready to be inspired and have a belly laugh or two. Here's a little bit about Darnell in her own words:

"I have been stamping and making cards since 2002, thanks to that one time I tagged along with a friend to a Stampin' Up party! I've been married 54 years to Kevin, known affectionately as "The Mister." (Yes, I'm old. Some people prefer to use the word 'mature,' but I prefer to be immature!) For instance, I'm delighted to have two imaginary hamsters named Hammy and Stanley who help me with my crafting! Card-making and blogging are wonderful hobbies which have brought me noodles of friends and pen pals from all over the world! Challenge #296

  Hello, friends of Time Out. Welcome back! If you are a newcomer to Time Out Challenges, we extend a very warm welcome to you. We're glad you are here.

We have a new challenge that opens today and runs through September 10. This time it is a Theme challenge: Friendship, Encouragement, Support

In earlier years of our challenge, this was a Breast Cancer Support theme. Later on we wanted to expand it to include support for any struggle that our friends and other loved ones are going through and how handmade kindness can be such a powerful aid to anyone going through a tough time for any reason.

"I am thrilled to be asked to Guest Design at Time Out this week!  I discovered stamping and card-making over twenty years ago, but I think crafty blood has been flowing in my veins from a very young age!  I love that stamping allows me to send encouraging messages to my family and friends.
