Welcome to the Time Out Family, our frequent player, Carol McFarland!
I'm sure Carol's blog Saw it. Had to Make It is familiar to many of you from card challenges. She is such a wonderful source of inspiration for us all. If you however are new to Carol's blog, make sure to visit Saw it. Had to Make It and leave her some love. We are excited that Carol was able to join us and can't wait to see her creative DT projects. Thank you and welcome, Carol!
A couple of words about the upcoming year. 2025 marks the beginning of 12th year of Time Out Challenges and to celebrate we have made a couple of exciting changes to our challenge rota! We are saying goodbye to 'Inspired by Words' and 'We Challenge You to Be' and welcoming 'Pick Two' and 'Inspired by'.

We'll introduce the new challenge types as they come along. We hope you'll love the changes! We are very happy with them and can't wait to create new projects alongside you, our wonderful players.
Now finally onto our first challenge of 2025 which opens today and runs through January 15th. It is a Theme challenge in which the theme is "BEGINNINGS".

Here are a few words from Ellen about her crafting journey:
"My name is Ellen and I live in Georgia (USA). I've been papercrafting for about two decades, starting with scrapbooking. Once I was introduced to card making (specifically heat embossing), my scrapbooks soon fell behind. I work full time to support my habit, and I appreciate Time Out challenges that spark my creativity and encourage a starting off point when I am otherwise uninspired! I am honored to guest design for the first Time Out challenge of the year. Thanks!"
