Hi friends of TIME OUT!

Welcome to join us again in a new challenge. For the next fortnight we are Inspired by Words

“Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year.” 

You can be inspired of the whole sentiment or just choose one or two words as a starting point for your project. We can't wait to see what you'll create!

Challenge #64 CASE Julia With Your Own Twist

Hi friends of TIME OUT!

We have a new challenge for you today and it's one of our CASE challenges! We are CASEing a shaker card by the amazingly talented Julia Altermann from Just One More Card. Her youtube channel includes some of the most popular online crafting videos and her colouring skills and fun cards always blow your mind away! Let's meet Julia and have a look at the card she made for us. 

Hi, I’m Julia from Germany! I’m a passionate card maker at night, and during the day I work in tech support for users of our awesome Mac/iPad/iPhone app. I live in the beautiful city of Dresden with my cat Sissy, who is always eager to help with my crafty projects, especially when they feature shaker elements or twine ;)

Words about the card:

There are a few aspects about this card which I love: it’s not a traditional A2 shape but square. I wanted to do a shaker, but at the same time I wanted to make the coloration on the inside to be eye catching as well. Hope you have fun with the project!

Julia's card makes me smile every time I look at it! Thank you so much Julia for letting us CASE this wonderful creation.

Now let's look at the DT cards! We have tried to show you how differently you could interpret Julia's card: you could use her theme of flying, make a square card, make a fun fun fun shaker card -or just use the colours Julia used or be inspired of the framing in her card. Many possibilities and the DT made fab job if you ask me! :)
